The treatment planning system organization in the Elekta software division has been growing since 1979 and now employs 300 of the best professionals in the industry, including Medical Physicists, Research Scientists, Medical Dosimetrists, Software Engineers, and world-class Customer Support teams in all regions. As part of the growth strategy in region Pac Rim, we are building a physics service team in China as an extension of the US physics service team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Medical Physics Service team initially provides physics service such as beam modeling and data collection to Elekta Business Units in Pac Rim region. The job function will eventually extend to support Elekta regional offices through remote support, in-house and onsite training. The team works very closely with the US physics service team as well as development team on new Elekta treatment planning system products, features, enhancement and physics tools by providing clinical feedback and suggestions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
· Masters in Medical Physics or related field
· 1-3 years experience in a radiotherapy clinic desirable. Fresh graduates with background in a relevant discipline are welcome
· Must be proficient in reading and writing English as the position requires daily communication with US colleagues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
· Analytical ability; must be skilled in performing numerical analysis, multi tasking and independent problem solving
· Familiarity with commercial treatment planning systems (TPS), Linac QA, data collection and associated measurement devices
· Knowledge of beam modeling for TPS desirable
· Proficient in Windows, MS Office Suite, Linux OS
· 10-15% travel is required, both domestic and International
· Experience of working in hospital is preferred.
