WMS Specialist

ASSIGNMENTS (main responsibilities):

1. Be responsible for WMS( Warehouse Management System ) new release, WMS education, WMS configuration and significantly important is to understand and use the WMS functionalities in an utmost way to optimize warehousing process.

u Inbound/outbound/internal movement/picking process

u Auto-Planning process

2. Probe deeply in warehousing operational process, and together with DC other functions(planning, operation, facility, etc), offering and leading the implementationof warehousing logistic solutions at the DC in the purpose of improving DC total operational efficiency

3. Be the key member to develop, maintain and implement global logistic setup concept mainly includes:

u DC Storage capacity and product ABC frequency planning

u Full pallet and picking area re-mapping

u Gate Strategy, for example, transit, cross-docking, block stacking

u Spread and Implement global or regional best practices

u Introduce and initiate tests for new warehousing working methods and new technologies

4. Be the DC speak partner to global IT helpdesk when it comes to WMS malfunctions. Be the responsible people who follow through root causes for system issues happened in daily operation and if necessary, to provide timely workaround to users with a sense of minimizing KPI loss. ( KPI: DC efficiency, lead time, filling rate, inventory, etc)

5. Occasionally involved in and contribute to projects initiated by other business units in the region or in global from WMS system perspective.

6. Daily work – Create gate booking proposal to operation.

7. Regular work – Build/modify/maintain DC monitoring tools.
