Software Developer - Mobile Web (Beijing, China)

As a Software Developer, you will build social networking features
that are used by millions of people just days after you commit your
code. We are building a multi-tier mobile web, using PHP, and
JavaScript/DHTML for front-end, and Java and Oracle for back-end
development. This position focuses on building out new mobile web
features for current Tagged products, like Newsfeed, Photos, Profile,
Friends, etc. We have a fast-paced development process and a
high-performance, flexible team structure. Our development cycle is
rapid, iterative, and driven by metrics and analytics.

You will be working primarily in PHP, and/or HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
We've got plenty of projects across our technology stack so you'll be
able to choose which areas you'd like to work in.

Minimum Qualifications
Enthusiasm for startup work
Stellar problem solving and coding skills
Proficient skills with PHP, HTML/CSS, and/or JavaScript
Extensive programming experiences - any widely used language is fine
Hands-on experiences with diagnosis tools of web application
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-paced, informal startup environment
Passion for consumer web products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
Additional Qualifications
Familiar with Java server-side development
Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and relational database design
Exposure to high-performance and large-scale computing challenges
Familiar with AJAX web development and REST web services
Previously built a web application for Facebook, OpenSocial, or other
social networks.
Contributed to open source software projects

Responsibilities
Develop new products. Gather, define and document functional
requirements for new features. Work closely with the entire
development team to make sure product meets specs.
Interaction Design. Define intuitive and easy-to-use user interfaces
and flows as either wireframes or pixel perfect mock-ups.
Measure and Optimize. Monitor and track key metrics, plan and execute
iterative tests post-launch to optimize the impact, user experience
and business goals of specific features or areas of the site.
Identify New Product Opportunities. Keep the pulse of our target
audience, understand what motivates and drives online usage. Solicit
input and requirements across the organization and externally, as well
as stay ahead of new technologies, features and sites introduced by
competitors.
Keep up with what's hot in the social gaming space and generate new
ideas from winning techniques.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 2 - 5 years experience as a Product Manager at a
consumer-oriented web site.
Proven experience defining specs, creating wireframes/mock-ups, and
shipping high quality products.
The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of web technologies & information architecture.
Collaborative personality and team player.
BA/BS required.
Technical/Web and/or Social GamingDevelopment background a huge plus

Software Developer (or Software Developer Intern) - iPhone Application
(Beijing, China)

As a Software Developer (or Software Developer Intern)，you will build
features of iPhone application that are matched with social networking
features on major US social networking site. The iPhone application
will be available to millions of people just days after you release it
to iTunes. Our development cycle is rapid, iterative, and driven by
metrics and analytics. We use C, Objective-C, JSON, HTTP, and web
technologies to develop iPhone application. We extensively utilize
asynchronous programming, multithreading, and caching to fine tune
application performance.

Current projects include design and implementation of social
networking features on iPhone; major feature additions, focused
product improvements, enhanced user experiences. We also routinely
refactor the core application to improve performance, efficiency, and
code maintainability.
