Job description
1.        Follows-up on orders, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.  
2.        Works with engineering to recommend new suppliers.
3.        Analyzes proposals, negotiates prices and delivery, issues and/or adjusts purchase orders in a timely manner.
4.        Negotiates vendor contracts, as appropriate.
5.        Follows purchasing business processes. Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.  
6.        Interfaces with Accounting and Receiving to resolve problems.

 

Requirements
1.        Willing work in shift
2.        Bachelor level degree or equivalent in business, purchasing/materials, supply chain management, International trade, English or related discipline
3.        Requires a general understanding of supply chain management, competitive analysis, cost analysis, cost avoidance and reduction, negotiation, commodity knowledge, information systems / commerce, and procure to invoice.  
4.        Requires a general understanding of the supplier's business and processes, and a good understanding of the technical aspects of the products.
5.        Requires good skills in change management, problem solving, communication, customer orientation, global business perspective, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills and quality.
