Position: Web/Font-end Developer Internship

Location: SAP Labs China, Shanghai

As member of SAP Design & New Application (DNA) team belonging to Office of the CTO, the web/front-end developer will work with application development team and solution management team to deliver high quality business solution, with the goal of building beautiful applications rapidly for SAP customers.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Building a cross browser Web 2.0 / AJAX based user interface with a highly creative approach and latest UI technologies
  
  
• Having a primary focus on HTML 5 Websites and application for iPhone and iPad
• Working in close collaboration with the creative department (beside the technology team) and providing all groups with a clear, accurate, evolving User Interface Design/Prototype

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• Object oriented JavaScript programming
• HTML5 / XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON
• Standard based web development, solving cross-browser compatibility issues
• Familiar with one or more popular AJAX frameworks (e.g. jQuery UI)
• Knowledge or experience with Flex/Flash/Silverlight will be a plus
• Good English speaking and writing
• Good communication skills and team player

Other Desirable Qualifications:

• Familiar with at least one backend programming language (e.g. Java, C#)
• Experience in J2EE development, JSP/Servlet, web server
• Familiar with Java web development framework (e.g. Struts, Spring)
