Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:
(Essential tasks or functions that are fundamental to the job)
- Design Window Base software to interface with SQL database and field bus technology
- Software includes development for designing the database structure, communication layer, server/client interface layer and Web server.
- Create and document Functional Design Specifications, Experiment documentation and Test Plan documentation
- Document development, design changes and production design activities
- Troubleshoot and debug software and performance through Visual Studio Team System environment
- Strong communication skills in conjunction with teamwork, planning and organizational skills are essential
Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: If appropriate, identify the specific technical/professional skills, knowledge and abilities required or preferred for this job (e.g. strong project management skills; strong interpersonal skills; report writing skills, negotiation skills, etc.)

Strong proven programming skills in native C++ or C#
Knowledge OO Design Patterns and Practices
Experience in database design and SQL Query design
Knowledge of network programming with sockets.
- Definite advantage
- Experience with ADAPTIVE Communication Environment (ACE) or similar frameworks
- Experience designing, debugging and deploying software in Microsoft Visual Studio
- Knowledge of XML
- Knowledge of UML
- Experience in QT
- Experience in WCF/WPF/Silverlight
- Experience in using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology
- Preferable
- Experience in programming real-time control systems
- Strong knowledge of PC based control systems and embedded system
- Working knowledge of standard industrial communication protocols.
