Junior Sales Associate and Business Developer

We are currently accepting applications for a Junior Sales Associate and Business Developer to market the company's research and advisory services to Chinese and Global Financial Institutions. This will include client evaluation and targeting, as well as establishing relationships with industry contacts in order to build a client base. Our staff will provide support and coaching, though those best positioned to succeed at Z-Ben Advisors will have a self-starting personality and entrepreneurial disposition. Z-Ben Advisors is committed to the growth of its employees, through training and internal advancement opportunities uncommon at other firms.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree (BA/BS)
  • Background or a strong interest in asset management, finance, economics
  • Minimum 1 year sales experience in developing new industry contacts
  • A successful sales history is a must and established contacts are preferred
  • Proven ability to understand strategic level conversations and quickly develop relationships with executive level contacts
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Excellent communicator able to articulate the value proposition of Z-Ben Advisors
  • English fluency required. Proficiency or fluency in Mandarin also preferred, and candidates with proficiency in additional languages will be highly competitive
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Expand and manage a client portfolio: you will Identify / target prospective client business within designated market segments  and provide a superior on-going support to existing clients
  • Develop and manage Z-Ben Advisors marketing meetings, conference calls and events with clients
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer information within theCRM
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities within the designated market segment(s)
  • Build executive level relationships with clients to understand their business needs in relation to the use of our products and services
  • Become a contributing member of a dynamic, entrepreneurial sales team

 Compensation includes a base salary and attractive commission structure.
