Job Description:

This position is as a Software Engineer working on a large commercial CAD application.  The employee will perform design and software programming for the NX CAD product with focus on surpassing customer expectations and achieving high quality and on-time delivery.  The position requires performing all of the SDLC steps of software design for one area of a product. The employee will create, document and execute software designs for focused product areas. Some customer interaction may be required.

Contributes individually or in a team to meet the requirements of various projects

Maintains existing software code and resolves customer and internally reported problems

Writes clean, robust and maintainable code to minimize the cost of defects over time

Works with customers to understand and improve existing code for their area

Follows the various steps in the SDLC process including writing design documents and coding

Qualification Requirements:

Job Description:

We are seeking an engineer or mathematician engineers to develop and maintain commercial finite element analysis software. This person will be a member of the global NX NASTRAN development team.

Qualification Requirements:

Degree in engineering or mathematics required, Masters or PhD degree preferred

Familiarity with finite element technology required

Experience with Fortran or C programming required

Experience running NASTRAN or other finite element software desired

Experience developing finite element analysis software desired

Position5: CAE Software Engineer – NX CAE

Location: Shanghai

Job Description:

Under some amount of supervision, design and implement functionality in the NX CAE product set based on approved Requirement Specification and Functional Specification.

Develop code as necessary to enable creation of test cases.

Follow the Software Development Lifecycle while implementing projects, as well as follow processes and policies of the company.

Maintain code in the group’s application area. Fix external and internal PRs and assist manager in maintaining the test suite.

Maintain effective communication with peers working on related projects and functional areas.

 

Prerequisites and essential functions

Master’s degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering with course work in Finite Element Analysis. A bachelor’s degree in the same with two years’ experience in related areas can be considered in lieu of master’s degree.

Proficiency in C/C required.

Working knowledge of English required to the extent that specifications and instructions can be understood, and can communicate reasonably well with developers in other countries.

Required:

Knowledge of Project Management tools and processes.

Position8: Application Engineer

Location:  Shanghai

Number of open positions： 8

Job description:

Responsible for monitoring quality of the NX Part Modeling or Architecture after integration of projects and bug fixes, based on the execution of automatic and interactive tests.  Utilize industry/CAD and work experience to ensure Part Modeling or Architecture product satisfies needs.

Detail duties include:

Perform both interactive and automated tests in NX software to identifying failures.

Create test plan based on approved Functional Specification document.

Perform interactive test based on approved test plan to identify gaps between implementation and design.

Report issues found in a timely fashion by logging PR.  Recommend priority of the issues using industry/CAD knowledge.

Create additional automated tests once the implementation is completed.

Perform regression tests to ensure no new issues are introduced as a result of code change.

Interact with customers as necessary to understand the best practice of NX and use this knowledge in product testing.

Prerequisites / Requirements

Masters Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering

Experienced Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering

Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software(s)

Familiar with Modeling/Assembly/Sheet Metal etc.

Coding experience is preferred

Additional software testing is a plus

Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills

Good written and verbal English skills
