Overview:

 

The IT Services Department provides a total IT service delivery mechanism to the business. The group exists to ensure that all business areas receive an appropriate IT services which in turn facilitates delivery of professional service to clients. The IT Department is organised so that we can deliver high quality end-to-end service and provide real career and technical development opportunities for all IT Services staff.       
Responsibilities:

 

• Provide daily support for the ITS Service Desk and conduct problem diagnosis and resolution
• Ensure compliance with the current security policy and procedures on the access control
• Support and conduct deployment of Global standard applications and Microsoft software
• Support ad hoc IT projects as required from time to time, both on-site and off-site
• Maintain and update IT assets and user profile records
• Implement virus definition and security patch update on a timely basis
• Assist the IT Manager on support activities and provide technical advice to other IT team members as needed.

       
Experience and Knowledge:

• Experienced in solid hands-on IT support experience on Windows XP / Vista / 7 and MS Office 2003/ 2007
• Previous experience in foreign joint venture/wholly owned enterprises a definite plus.

       
Education and Professional Certifications:

 

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent preferably with an MCSE qualification

• Good command of written and spoken English
