招聘职位

A. Mechanical Design Engineer 机械设计工程师

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop state of the art optical communication products at speeds exceeding tens to hundreds of gigabit/sec;

2. Design and develop high precision mechanical package for lasers, photo-detectors, lenses and high-speed IC components to work in various temperature and humidity range and vibratory environment with low EMI emission;

3. Delivery of products from conceptual design and prototyping to mass production;

4. Develop intellectual properties related to products and apply patents;

5. Do design reviews in each of the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase;

6. Do thermal, structure and tolerance analysis and simulations in all NPI phases to validate the designs;

7. Do failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes in a product.

Qualifications:

1. Master degree or above in mechanical engineering or related fields;

2. Willingness to learn new skills;

3. Good analytical and design skills;

4. Knowledge of CAD such as Solidworks, ProE or Auto CAD;

5. Knowledge of FEM software such as Solidworks Simulation or ANSYS;

6. Familiar with material properties and manufacturing process;

7. Good communication skill to contribute effectively in cross-functional teams;

8. Fluent in speaking and writing English.

B. Firmware Engineer 固件研发工程师

Responsibilities:

1. Take part in the design, development, and test of the embedded firmware/software for high performance optical transceivers or optical sub-system;

2. Deliver the firmware package per project development schedule and responsible for in-circuit test, PCBA bring-up, and system level debugging;

3. Work with Finisar global software/firmware organization and follow the Finisar processes of firmware/software architecture, development, debugging, optimizing, and validation;

4. Collaborate with functional teams such as marketing, transceiver engineering, product engineering, and customer support to complete the whole process of the product life cycle;

5. Support Finisar Shanghai site new product development and existing product sustaining engineering;

6. Work with teams on other sites worldwide as part of the global software/firmware support.

Qualifications:

1. BS or higher in electrical engineering and/or computer science/engineering or related area;

2. Knowledge in embedded systems and hands-on experiences in developing micro-controller firmware;

3. Familiar with the I2C, SPI interface protocols;

4. Experiences in the following areas would be added advantages:

o Fiber optic transceiver technologies and MSA standard

o Knowledge in firmware quality assurance, testing and validation methodology

o Board level hardware design knowledge

o GUI or application software development

5. Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills. Proficient in using test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, etc;

6. Good verbal and written communication skills;

7. Must be a good team player, self-motivated and able to work independently.

C. Automation Software Engineer自动化软件开发工程师

Requirements:

1. A postgraduate student studying Automation, Mechatronic or Software Engineering in his/her 2nd year grade;

2. Excellent theoretical knowledge in Automation engineering science and basic practical capability on Software design;

3. Be capable of using design tool such as Lab View, Lab Windows/ CVI, Visual C , Visual Basic;

4. Preferred with experience in motion control, robot vision control, data management and DAQ& GPIB application;

5. Thrill to learning new knowledge and skills, strong ownership and accountability for assignments;

6. Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Chinese;

7. Able to travel to US and Australia.

D. Optical Engineer 光学工程师

Requirements:

1. Master or PHD, majored in optics or related;

2. Good team player and self motivated;

3. Strong solve problem skill;

4. English at or above CET 6 with good listening and spoken English;

5. Familiar with Zemax, and/or other optical design software is appreciated.

E. Manufacturing Engineering Engineer生产技术工程师

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or master degree in opto-electronic, mechanical or material engineering relative major;

2. Capability of working independently with strong analytical skill;

3. Good capability in logic analysis, fundamental capability in data statistical analysis;

4. Fluent English and good computer capabilities. CET-6 is preferable;

5. Have a very good team work;

6. Strong desire and quick learning skills.
