Founded in 1984, Novellus Systems, Inc. is a manufacturer of chemical vapor deposition (CVD), physical vapor deposition (PVD), copper Electrofill™ systems, and photoresist and residue removal systems. As circuit geometries shrink in size, the deposition and surface preparation equipment manufactured by Novellus become increasingly important technologies for manufacturing advanced semiconductor devices.
