Description

We seek a strong candidate with experience working in a product development team environment. We want a self starter, able to efficiently organize time to handle concurrent assignments and meet deadlines, while paying attention to detail and accuracy. Must exhibit excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Also needs to be skilled in conveying technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations, and in writing. Direct fuel system component experience is not mandatory, however, candidate must be willing and eager to learn and work closely with US based engineering team on new product development.

The successful candidate will be supporting the Design, Assembly and Test of the following area:

• Design and development of single stage electrical hydraulic valve for Aerospace product

Responsibilities include:

• Work with customer requirement on hydraulic flow sizing （液压流体，过流截面大小）, coil sizing (线圈尺寸), frequency response （频响） etc for different application
• Lead new product design/development through preliminary and detail design phases
• Develop test specification and pass QAT test and Durability test
• Project execution within constraints of allocated budgets and schedules
• Learn existing product technologies, troubleshoot production issues, develop alternative processes / solutions to improve product, and drive to optimum customer solution.
• Design documentation accuracy.
• RCCA analysis　and disposition of customer returned hardware, direct customer and supplier interface to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare Failure Analysis reports as required.
• Analysis for product non-conformances and Product Integrity issues.
• Contribute readily to integrated team solutions, meet customer and Honeywell requirements

Job location will be in Shanghai, Honeywell HTSC office in Zhang Jiang High-Tech Park

Short term overseas assignments in US may be required.

Qualifications

• Single stage valve and torque motor development experience is desired
• Strong knowledge on mechatronics engineering side - electrical engineering, hydraulic tech, analog circuit, electrical magnetic theory etc.　(机电一体化／电气工程／流体／电磁场理论)
• Experience on Matlab and Simulink is plus　（软件）
• Strong first order/static analysis skills required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Hands-on skills are highly desired.
• Good teaming skills; experience with cross-functional and remote teams a plus.
• Experience with Six Sigma design and process development tools, DOE, QFD,
• Fluent communication skills in English both verbal and written

Minimum requirement: M.S in Mechatronic Engineering 2+ years (PhD) of experience in a related field.
