Intern Job Description
Chinese - Shenzhen Office
Support to WG/Forum Business Management and Government Affairs, the intern will:
•Complete specific research on issues/regulations/policies (where in Chinese) in preparation for Working Groups/Forums in Shenzhen
•Creating and updating of organization charts and informing on restructuring & mergers of Chinese government offices, as requested by the Business Manager
•Provide presentation material related to Working Groups/Forums & related seminars
•Provide translation assistance related to government communication but not limited to that
•Send PRD Government Update on weekly basis (by SZ intern)
•Research on WG/Forum Related policy, regulations, and preparing WG/Forum specialized e-newsletter to be sent out to WG/Forum members
•Update Government Offices contact list DB
•Update WG/Forums Mailing Lists
-Additional responsibilities:
•Responsible for all office management - courier service, office stationary supply, copier/printing machine cartridge, water supply, etc.
•Prepare GM and office cash accounting (applicable only for SZ intern)
Required Skills:
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Cantonese a plus
- Background in law, business, economics or administration preferred
- Fourth year students preferred
- Research experience
- Organizational, communication, social and presentation skills
- Computer literacy, including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Flexible and proactive attitude
