1 THE JOB DETAILS
Job title:Tele Sales Executive
Location:Shenzhen, China
Salary: Competitive plus generous commission, dependent on experience.
Responsible to: Reporting to the UK CSTR Divisional Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, start and finishing times flexible and subject to operational requirements.
2 WHY HAS THIS ROLE BECOME AVAILABLE
This role has come about due to company expansion and the opportunities available in the Chinese market.
3 PURPOSE OF ROLE
The primary purpose of the job is:
• Working from our existing database of China customers, to sell security labels direct to existing customers and grow these sales. These customers are manufacturers of apparel garments.
• To develop new business with new manufacturers of apparel garments across China.
• There will be a requirement to visit customers in China.
4 IMPORTANT COMPETENCIES
• Energy, drive and commitment to succeed.
• Able to work in a methodical structured way.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ideally good knowledge of the apparel manufacturing market.
• Ideally a background and experience in telephone sales.
• Ideally Mandarin, Cantonese and English speaking.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Good computer skills and the willingness to learn a new web-based ordering system.

Due to our expansion and new market opportunities, we are currently looking to recruit a Tele-Sales Executive to generate sales from our new offices in Shenzhen, China.
The role is part of the 4th and largest division of Catalyst - CSTR.
Our current business process:
Catalyst sell to retailers the principle of attaching clothing security tags at the factory source in China, instead of attaching tags in retail stores around the world. The retailer instructs the manufacturer to buy ‘hard' security tags from Catalyst, and we supply hundreds of factories across Asia.
Opportunity for additional business, therefore the creation of this new role:
There are great opportunities to sell further security tags to these manufacturers who already buy from Catalyst. And there is the opportunity to research and then sell security tags to new manufacturers who are not currently on the Catalyst database.
