Type: 6 Month Contract
Requirements:
• University degree holder in English or journalism (or related background), preferably with a masters degree in communications/media relations
• Must be an effective communicator and be able to synthesize complex and diverse materials into information that PwC constituents will find engaging and compelling
• Confidence to deal with Senior Leadership within the firm
• An understanding of electronic communications and ability to use them effectively to reach a broad and targeted audience
• A good example of our target audience, focused on generation Y
• Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Our Assurance practice has been going through an exciting cultural change programme where we are focusing on ‘interaction and communication’ up and down the organisation. As part of our internal efforts to adopt some breakthrough behaviours within the firm – we require an individual to work with the Assurance Human Capital Director, Assurance Leader and broader team to manage our internal online blog. This individual will be editing the blog by addressing key questions and content from our staff sent through both online and offline channels on a weekly basis. This individual will be delivering high quality services to our internal clients, and the ability to communicate and administer activities to the maximum efficiency will be an asset. Key responsibilities include;
• Assess questions, comments and suggestions from our staff within the assurance practice on a weekly basis, to determine action and follow up with key stakeholders.
• Draft content in English and Chinese by working together with the “Blog Editorial team” and leadership
• Develop key themes and focal points with key leaders on an ongoing basis
• Developing strategy and thinking to ensure the blog becomes a dynamic environment to engage our staff on a continuous basis.
• Work closely with our Marketing & Communications and our Technology Teams to ensure we can keep content and technology vibrant on an weekly and monthly basis
• Work with advocates within the Business Units as part of sourcing content and framing issues and dialogue with our people
• Frequent engagement with leadership and key stakeholders to agree and sign off content
• Manage and update a project plan
This position is project based with 6 months contract.
