Position –Analyst
Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, research-savvy individual with experience in analyzing and interpreting real estate market fundamentals. The primary responsibility of the Analyst is to support the manager to monitor the real estate markets in Beijing as well as other major cities in North China.
The Analyst is responsible to conduct real estate market research in a professional and timely manner. To this end, the analyst is primarily required to collect and process data on a daily basis. The analyst is also required to assist the manager or on his or her own to develop analytical and data processing models. The fulfillment of the quality research will enable the team itself to produce market overview reports and other research publications on a regular or request basis. Besides, the research team will primarily support the delivery of consultancy assignments of the division. The research team is also required to provide support by responding to data requests from other business lines, and work with other offices worldwide on joint research efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Consultant is to assist the manager to handle the execution of consultancy assignments in Beijing as well as other major cities in North China, and as such will be required to successfully fulfill the following tasks:
1. Assist the manager to implement systems and procedures for performing quality and consistent research.
2. Conduct data collection and processing and other research activities on a daily basis.
3. Conduct field research, etc. to develop and update first-hand market database.
4. Support the manager to conduct research projects for certain market or sector whenever required.
5. Prepare and deliver presentations, up-to-date market overview in particular, to the clients of Knight Frank or visitors from other offices of the company.
6. Assist the delivery of consultancy projects whenever required.
7. Respond, professionally to all ad hoc enquiries, including submitting professionally prepared information, as and when required.
8. Ensure that all documents produced on Knight Frank’s behalf, whether internal or external, are in accordance with documented policies and are consistent with corporate standards. To ensure that clients receive a consistent and professional image of the Company.
9. Perform other tasks as reasonably required / delegated.
Requirements
Ÿ Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Architecture or related fields.
Ÿ Sound analytical skills paying particular attention to details.
Ÿ Able to articulate research findings and opinions succinctly.
Ÿ Skilled at creative problem solving and deductive reasoning.
Ÿ A strong knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access which is necessary. Knowledge of SPSS, EViews, SQL and/or Visual Basic skills is a plus.
Ÿ It is essential to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
