Position: Development Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Take an active part in developing consumable products in cooperation with the development teams in Asia and Europe
1. Take an active part in developing consumable products in cooperation with the development teams in Asia and Europe
2. Carry out the developing work for components and complete units of consumable products according to the concepts provided by Hilti development center
3. Building up sound competence regarding technical/physical function of the consumable and its design methods to ensure to right interpretation of test results regarding function and reliability in different applications
4. Optimize the design of the consumables in a systematic way to fulfill Hilti standards in sense of quality and costs
5. Report all results and findings and give recommendations for improvements, further actions and design adaptions to the team
6. Provide technical support to the team and work closely with sourcing to implement "easy manufacturing" at suppliers
7. Take necessary steps to ensure proper planning and management of the development steps. Review and clarify accuracy of specifications coming from Hilti development center
8. Ensure a close relationship with Hilti teams, the plants and Supplier during the development process
9. Take care of all development documentation
Requirements:
1. University graduate in 2011, major in mechanical engineering
2. Proficiency in English and Mandarin
3. Excellence in working with CAD software unigraphics NX
4. Experience in working with PDM system preferable
5. Competence in metal component design esp. for fasteners
6. Analytical and organizational skills
7. Superior PC knowledge in all Microsoft Windows applications
8. The candidate must be mature, initiative, independent, aggressive and proactive
9. Experience to work with European or/and overseas technicians preferable
10.Be a team player
11. Open minded for changes and new experiences
