Technical Sales Specialist (Guangzhou / Hongkong)   Objective: To provide technical direction and support to custom services and projects. Facilitate the information flow among customers, sales, operations, marketing and customer service.   Responsibilities: l Assist in identifying customer opportunities, needs and requirements and communicate opportunities to sales force. Key Responsibilities:   1.         Support Sales Representatives to do on-field service toprovide technical and application expertise in response to customers' inquiries 2.         Supporttelephone & email inquiries 3.         Provide post-sale applications training to customers in their laboratories and demonstrates proper operating procedures with Applied Biosystems solutions 4.         Prepare and delivertechnical seminars to customers, potential customers and Applied Biosystems Sales Representatives and other employees as requested 5.         Provide technical expertise inconferences and trade show booths 6.         Proactively accomplish all administrative duties such as reports, presentations, meetings, and etc. 7.         Attends technical training and scientific meetings to gather information on new trends, innovative products and discoveries.   Education/Experience:    1.         PhD or Master Degree major in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and etc. 2.         Sequencing and QPCR experience is strongly preferred. Application Scientist, Bioinformatics (Guangzhou)   Fundamental Purpose of Position l Provide bioinformatics assistance to customers l Assist SOLiD customers with data analysis and trouble shooting of SOLiD data l Develop BioFx pipelines and tools in accordance with customers and AB recommendations   Major Responsibilities: l Support of our next generation sequencing platform through the analysis of experimental results, and the development of analysis tools for specific customer applications l Operating and managing pipelines for data analysis and platform support across our regional SOLiD customers  l Identify and automate repetitive tasks to enhance data retrieval, manipulation, analysis, and to ensure the quality of the sequencing data. l Pre-/post-sales support utilizing bioinformatics presentation and demonstration of capability l Development of presentations depicting results of SOLiD data analysis that may be utilized by marketing and product management   Skills/Behaviors Required:

• Knowledge and skills normally acquired through completion of a PhD in Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Statistics, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Hands-on experience with the relevant sequence analysis tools (e.g. Blast, SW, Primer3, GAP4, etc.)
• An excellent understanding of genomic databases and their annotations (GenBank, RefSeq, ENSEMBL, dbSNP)
• Demonstrated computer skills including proficiency with a scripting language (e.g. Perl, BioPerl, Phyton) in a UNIX and Windows NT environment
• A good understanding of the biology behind genotyping, gene expression profiling, and genetic mapping, familiarity with the basis of nucleic acid structure and folding, and an appreciation of the use of statistical methods and mathematical models in the interpretation of biological data is highly desirable.
• Software and algorithm development skills (e.g. in C/C++/Java/Matlab), familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g. R, S-Plus, SAS), database development experience (Oracle, SQL, XML), related industry experience, and a record of publications, are pluses.
• Excellent listening, questioning and negotiation skills in English and Chinese

工作内容：
1. 负责用DNA合成仪进行DNA的合成，观察和监测合成效率。
2. 负责对DNA合成引物进行氨解和PAGE胶的电泳纯化。
3. 负责对DNA引物进行C18的过柱脱盐。

工作经验以及专业背景要求：
- 生物或化学专业，本科学历。 1年以上的相关工作经验。
- 具有较强的实验动手能力、较强的学习能力，工作认真细心，有良好的团队协作精神。
- 具有引物DNA合成与纯化工作经验者优先（单链，短片断DNA 合成，用仪器合成）。
