Position：Assistant R&D Engineer (1)

1. Qualifications

• University / Bachelor degree in physics / chemistry or chemical engineering, desirable with good business understanding.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communicational skills
• Professional work attitude and willingness to learn from and with one another
• Proficient computer skills in particular in Microsoft Office
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong mindset, strong in decision making and taking over responsibility

 

2. Main responsibilities:

• Obeys all safety codes in his daily work and executes his job accordingly.
• Provides technical support indirectly to Sales or Customers in Asia Pacific Region, which includes but not limit to:

1. Conduct application testing according to customer requirements

2. Build up tesa technical bulletin

3. Study of influence parameters on tape performance

• Analyze and interpret results, and propose on next step
• Document and report results following tesa standard procedures
• Support application testing for R&D development group
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area
• Other tasks according to his/her superior

Position：Raw material engineer (2)

1. Qualifications

• Master degree or above with major in chemistry, polymer science, material science or related disciplines;
• Good analytical, executive and communicational skills
• Professional work attitude and team player
• Computer skills in particular in Microsoft Office
• Good written and spoken English

 

2. Main responsibilities

• Sourcing and selecting the best combination of materials for specific purposes;
• Conducting laboratory tests to evaluate properties of raw materials;
• Developing new test method if it is not available for characterization of raw materials with special function;
• Considering the implications for safety, waste and other environmental pollution issues of raw materials;
• Considering the costs implications of materials used and alternatives, in terms of both time and money;
• Document and report results following tesa standard procedures. Analyze results and propose on next step;
• Creating raw material database, maintaining and analyzing raw materials database;
• Advising on the adaptability of current process to new materials;
• Liaising with colleagues in purchasing, product development team, process team and colleagues in HQ.
• Obeys all safety codes in daily work. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Conducting other tasks assigned by superior.
