Department Description

Oracle Application Express is a hosted declarative development environment for developing and deploying database-centric Web applications. Thanks to built-in features such as user interface themes, navigational controls, form handlers, and flexible reports, Oracle Application Express accelerates the application development process.
Oracle SQL Developer is a new, free graphical tool for database development. With SQL Developer, you can browse database objects, run SQL statements and SQL scripts, and edit and debug PL/SQL statements. You can also run any number of provided reports, as well as create and save your own. SQL Developer enhances productivity and simplifies your database development tasks.
Our Application Express testing team is to ensure the quality of both the above products. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

   * Working with development team to design the features of Application Express and SQL Developer
   * Writing test specs for functionalities of Application express and SQL Developer
   * Design & write automated tests for Application Express and SQL Developer
   * Ensure the quality of Application Express and SQL Developer by Automated tests and manual testing

Brief Posting Description

This position is for Oracle CDC located in Shenzhen, China.
Qualifications:

   * BS or MS in computer Science, related working experience is a plus;
   * Knowledge of web standards, such as HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML, XSL. Familiar with web application development.
   * Knowledge of GUI automation tools, such as WinRunner, QTP, Silk, or JFCUnit;
   * Good English communication skills, including speaking and writing;
   * Excellent programming skills in Java/C++.
   * Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL, experience with Oracle database and PL/SQL is a plus;
   * Hands-on experience with Windows & Unix platforms;
   * Excellent analytical skill and able to learn new technologies quickly;
   * Self-motivated and a good team player.
