1. Junior Web Developer

Position Description:

To analyze requirements and write design or program specifications.

To develop a Web portal application for telecom back-office support services, using dynamic web development, database interactivity, and professional graphic design.

To follow and use the fundamentals of software development, including best practices and Object-Oriented design and coding.

To communicate efficiently and collaborate effectively with team members and back end developers.

To work closely with U.S. office, China office and international customers, regularly communicating in English online.

Fresh graduates will be considered for this Junior Engineering Position.

Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or related major.

Good command of English, both oral and written.

岗位要求

Expertise in developing dynamic Web portal applications (using dynamic interface AJAX/JavaScript/DHTML/etc.), with database interactivity and integration of professional graphic design.

Proven experience with RichFaces (or similar framework such as IceFaces).

Strong graphic design capabilities using Adobe Design Suite.

Demonstrable skill in SQL (MySQL) development.

Experience with CSS, HTML and XHTML, as well as other web development/production tools.

Understanding of cross-browser, front-end development issues (IE, Firefox, Safari).

Demonstrable experience with Core Java or J2SE/J2EE technology (JSP&Servlet, JDBC etc., Framework: Struts, Spring, Hibernate, etc.).

Proficiency in Linux and Windows environment and command.

Experience with XML and Web services preferred.

Experience with at least one source control system; experience with CVS preferred.

Experience in at least one application server; Apache and Tomcat preferred.
