 AP Systems Engineering
Intern of Platform Development and Integration team

Responsibility:
The candidate will be responsible for developing key technologies to build a complete platform solution from bottom to top that covers various application frameworks including Android, Ubuntu, MeeGo, ChromiumOS etc. And he/she will also be responsible for implementing new innovative technologies, developing key OS adaptation technology, integrating key components together, optimizing the performance and power for the whole platform to build a turnkey solution that includes various products such as Smartphone, Tablet, netbook, smart DPF, PND etc. In other words, the candidate will face the challenges to integrate all necessary building blocks, develop new technologies for emergent usage scenarios and go through whole product life cycle to create a real product

Qualifications:
- BS in EE, CS or equivalent is required.
- Experience on Linux OS and knowledge of application framework such as Android is preferred.

Software Engineer/Intern

Responsibility:
We are looking for the talented software engineer for performance tools solutions on Marvell processors (ARM architecture). Work includes designing and developing the performance profiling/analysis solution for embedded OS (i.e. Android and Linux) and its application running on Marvell processors, which is analyzed on x86 based host PCs. Responsibility includes high level design (HLD) and low level design (LLD), coding/bug-fixing/unit-test and co-work with software validation engineer. The candidate will also contribute to providing technical support to internal users and path-finding for the new profiling technology.

Qualifications:
-- MS/BS in computer sciences/electronic engineering (or equivalent).
-- Strong programming skill in C/C++ is a MUST.
-- Knowledge and working experience in OS device driver as Android/Linux on ARM - architecture is required.
-- Knowledge and working experience on ARM architecture, profiling and optimization, with essential knowledge of compiler/ assembler/linker is a great advantage.
-- Practical experience of full software product life cycle from definition through software development, design, implementation, quality assurance, and release is a plus.
-- Smart, creative and rich experience in team working is a plus.
Fluent communication in both Mandarin and English is required.

Job Description:
This is an entry level, software engineering oriented application engineer position. The application engineer is responsible for various post silicon engineering efforts with different kind of semiconductor products, including but not limited to: Ethernet PHY/NIC/Switch/SoC/ASIC products, high speed serial link I/O's, DTV front end components, and so on.
The engineer will be responsible for conducting various types of validation and QA tests, generating reference design and demonstration system for customers, reviewing customers' designs, resolving customer issues, fulfilling customers' special requests, and supporting the marketing team on various design-win and market exploration activities.

Qualification:
-- BSEE/MSEE.
-- 0-3 years of working experience with firmware or driver software development on data-communication systems.
-- Working experience with PHY devices, L2/L3 switches, NIC cards, embedded systems, test and measurement, test automation, software QA, is highly appreciated.
-- Need to have solid knowledge with Ethernet based networking technology.
-- Need to have thorough understanding with general electrical engineering principles, like basic electronic circuit design, basic logic design, communication theory, software programming, etc.
-- Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment.
-- Must have valid verbal and oral communication skill in English and Chinese language.

Responsibilities
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for storage products' black-box/white-box software testing, including SSD, SAS/SATA bridge, SAS/SATA controller,etc. His/her responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Plan and execute black-box/white-box test and defect management activities
- Design and implement test automation systems.
- Help debugging
- Design Test plans and generate test reports
- Plan and execute validation and defect management activities, and help debugging.

Qualifications
- The candidate's major should be in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or something like that.
- Knowledge of computer science, operating system, debug skill etc.
- Be active, creative and with high sense of responsibility
- Familiar with script programming, Perl is preferred
- Top 20% GPA when undergraduate
- First-year postgraduate student is preferred
