Job Summary:
 
Under general direction, the Research Associate will support the Senior Manager or other team members by conducting information collection, data analysis, clerical and editorial duties, maintenance of accurate files and records, and other associated responsibilities. He/she may also assist the liaison with other research institutions, take part in various government relations events, conferences or be called upon to support the organization of high-level executive visits in China.  
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
 
1. Bachelor degree holder or graduate school student with majors in economics, finance, management or other business-related disciplines;
 
2. Strong existing computer skills with Microsoft Office, advanced user of MS Excel and Powerpoint;
 
3. Articulate and tactful communication skills; readiness to directly meet or work with clients or outside agencies;
 
4. Commitment to work on a regular schedule during Summer 2011 and throughout the school year;  
 
5. Interest in career development for future employment in financial institutions like CDP
 
6. Having demonstrated a commitment to quality and accuracy in previous jobs or research projects
 
7. Strong oral and written English skills; French an asset;
 
8. Previous experience with financial institutions or multi-national organizations a plus
