Job Description

Job Purpose:

Top priority is to provide maintenance development, technical improvement and new feature development for a financial planning product with a mature code base.  In addition, he/she will work on projects designed for interns to help build internal tools for our products.

Education:

·         Bachelor's degree or better in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics

·         Candidate for a master's degree in related fields

Skills and Competencies:

·         Familiar with Flex development

·         (Preferred)Familiar with ABAP

·         (Preferred) Experienced with Excel VBA or VB6 or

·         (Preferred) Familiar with SQL DB programming

·         (Preferred) Familiar with C# and .NET programming

·         Team player with good inter-personal skills

·         Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal)

·         Practical knowledge of software design patterns

·         Proficient in code analysis and problem solving

Expectations/Tasks:

·         Provide maintenance support (investigate, debug, fix bugs, etc)

·         Technical improvement, function enhancement, or new feature development

·         Estimate cost/risk involved in development tasks accurately within a timely fashion

At least 4 days a week & 6 months
