Support to the Management of the Microcredit Department · Provide technical advice and support to the management and staff of the company in formulating and implementing its strategy and guide them in their daily activities; · Assist in staff hiring, development, training and performance； 2. Training and Monitoring of Credit Control and Administration· Monitor the application of policies, norms and procedures and advise management on whether the entire loan process is working according to procedures;· Advise on the setting of performance contracts; 3. Support to Portfolio Quality Management· Monitor quality of loan portfolio, perform analyses to determine what factors are affecting the delinquency rates at the level of the branches, zones and sectors, and assist management in developing loan recovery strategies; and· Support recovery officers and branch managers in loan recovery activities to maximize swift recovery of delinquent loans； 4. Enhancement of Reporting· Perform analysis on financial indicators and provide reports on these indicators including disbursements, client retention, growth of different products, and branch delinquency;· Analyze trends in the loan portfolio; and· Identify reporting needs within the core company system that are lacking； 5. Product and Systems Development· Recommend updates to the manuals of policies, procedures and norms; · Evaluate the characteristics of the loan product(s) and propose necessary modifications ; · Evaluate the procedures used and propose necessary modifications when needed.Qualifications and Requirements: · Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or another related area of study and a minimum of three years of senior commercial management experience, preferably in a bank or microfinance institution; OR a graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related area of study and minimum of seven years of senior commercial management experience, preferably in a bank or microfinance institution.· Experience in commercial strategic planning, budgeting, credit analysis, product and systems development, and risk management.· Fluency in both English and Mandarin preferred.· Strong analytical and people management skills. Must also be able to work independently and as a team member.· Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to present financial information effectively.· Must understand financial and credit analysis software packages.· Must have knowledge of micro, small and medium enterprise market segments in China or similar countries.· Must be committed to the social mission of microfinance. |
