微软亚洲研究院“明日之星”实习生项目

Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship Program.

微软亚洲研究院是微软公司在美国本土之外最大的基础科研机构，被美国著名技术杂志MIT  《Technology Review》誉为“世界上最火的计算机实验室”。 自1998年成立以来，启动了面向亚太区高校博士生、硕士生和优秀本科生的“明日之星”实习生项目。该项目由微软亚洲研究院和国内外高校共同执行，旨在培养高素质的计算机基础研究人才。实习生进入微软亚洲研究院后深入到每个研究小组进行为期三个月或更长时间的实习。截止至2010年10月，已有3500名来自亚太区高校的学生到微软亚洲研究院实习，平均每年有400个实习机会开放给所有的学生。

Group: Innovation Engineering Group (IEG)

Group Overview

The Innovation Engineering Group is a new incubation group based in Microsoft Research Asia. Here teams are small, the environment is unstructured, and the work is fast-paced. We are trying to turn ideas into reality here.

Roles & Responsibilities

The interns will be working on Academic Search project (ac***com[点击查看]), as developer or tester with a group of people. Duties will include database administration, website development or automation test tool development according to the specific position.

Position 1: Developer Intern 

Requirements:

1. Major in Computer Science or related;

2. Proficiency in C / C# is required;

3. Solid knowledge in database is needed;

4. Good communication skills and excellent teamwork; 

Position 2: Web Developer Intern 

Requirements:

1. Major in Computer Science or related;

2. Proficiency in C# / JavaScript / JQuery / CSS is required;

3. Experience of web application development  will be preferred ( / PHP / J2EE / Silverlight);

4. Good communication skills and excellent teamwork; 

Position 3: QA Intern

Requirements:

1. Familiar with C /C# is required;

2. Rich project experience will be preferred;

3. Knowledge of Automation Testing tool is a plus;

4. Good communication skills and excellent teamwork; 

All positions need your supervisor's approval.

Position 4：Editor Intern

1. College students in Language-related majors,  or Liberal Arts,  Library Science, Information Science majors.

2. Familiar with Microsoft Office software tools, web search tools;

3. Great reading, written, and oral English;

4. Good communication skills and excellent teamwork;

5. Knowledge of other foreign languages is a strong plus;

6. Can commit at least 3 months internship, can get your advisor’s approval.
