DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Application Communication Platforms and AE Department (R&D 2) has two product areas for R&D focus. One is application product development for IMS voice servers and Unified Communication and Rich Communications Suite (RCS). The other is new product development for Application Enablement strategy. As two of ALU corporate key endeavors, IMS and Application Enablement play important roles for revenue growth and company transformation. Application R&D 2 department takes major responsibilities and works up front to realize and deliver many products to catch the wave of global market dynamics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Contributing to Application products evolution and development strategy.
· Software design and implementation.
· Subsystem level and system level testing and integration.
· Providing technical support to engineering service team for Application products.
REQUIREMENTS
· Master degree or above in computer science, electronic engineering or related field with project/work experience.
· Good experience with software development and testing with C/C or Java and object oriented design (Linux, Unix, OOD/P, RDBMS).
· Good experience in real-time system programming and testing.
· Strong knowledge and background in telecom, wireless network and IMS, very familiar with protocols like SIP, 3GPP/3GPP2, GSM/UMTS/CDMA, and ANSI/ITU.
· Good Database experience (MySQL, Oracle etc.)
· Good communication skill in English.
· Highly self-motivated, good problem-solving skill, able to work effectively under pressure.
