Skills Required:
- Electronic engineering or mechanical engineering degree
- Knowledge of electronic product test standards (IEC 60950-1, IEC 60065 GB4943, GB8898) , interface with test laboratories
- Knowledge of electronic product hardware design, such as power supplier design, mechanical design, etc
- Experience with vendors, ODM, and internal development groups
- Experience in writing/understanding electronics specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
- Excellent ability to teach others on technical issues
- Experienced in technical and report writing in English and Chinese

Skills Desired:
- Excellent problem solving skills in product safety incident management 
- Knowledge of battery safety standards and requirements 
- Previous interface & work with standards organizations

Responsibilities:

-China safety standards authority
 o Maintaining and providing information to the appropriate operating units, and GSAs on safety standards activities affecting China, including national standards and requirements, planned and adopted laws, regulations, directives, customs, practices, and newly emerging standards. 
 o Leading China corporate level safety compliance, such as interface with China electronic product safety standards technical committee, China agency CQC and China government department CNCA
 o Submitting China country positions to the GSA on safety standards reviews and deviations. 

-Beijing location safety authority
 o Identifies the resources necessary for the location's safety standards program and assists the corporate safety standards staff and the standards authorities as required. 
 o Support and administration of the safety Standards Compliance Reference List (SCRL) and deviation processes. 
 o Development，review, publication, and maintenance of safety standards documents for the site or brand. 
    
-China safety follow up service
 o Product market surveillance management.
 o Leading product certification factory inspection work.
 o Leading product non-compliance incident management.
