We are looking for bright candidates to join us as Research Analyst in the fmcg industries. Based in Shanghai, Beijing, Hefei, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanchang, and Hebei Province (上海，北京，合肥，郑州，广州，杭州，南昌，河北省) potential candidates will be working from home on a contract basis. Selected applicants will be given basic training in Euromonitor’s research methodologies in order to provide highly analytical and insightful market reports for our MNCs clients and meeting deadline at the same time.

For this role the candidate will be expected to:

• Acquire and analyze data on the consumer goods market in the city via both primary and secondary research
• Visit retail outlets to gather information on products information
• Conduct trade interviews/discussions (via phone) with companies and associations within the fmcg industry and build on existing contact list
• Engage in data calculations, analysis and estimations to develop country or region size/data;
• Forecast future consumer goods market trends, changes and developments;
• Report writing (Chinese or English)

For this role, the potential candidate will have:

• Undergraduates in Business, Economics, Marketing, or other related fields
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Comfortable in cold calling companies for trade interviews
• Able to work independently and meeting deadlines
• Able to read English

**Candidates must be comfortable to work from home.
