Job Descriptions and Requirements
1. Patent Engineer
Job Descriptions:
- Draft U.S. patent applications and prepare counterpart China patent applications.
-Draft responses to office actions from the USPTO.
-Work with foreign patent counsels/associates regarding foreign filings and office actions.
Requirements:
-Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
-Solid technical knowledge of analog circuitry.
-Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
-Preferred but not required experience in US patent application prosecution in law firm or in-house.
2. Application Engineer
Job Description:
Responsible for mixed signal IC evaluation and application circuit development; support global customers through FAE on IC application issues; compose the datasheets, application notes or other IC application documents; support project manager and design team on new product research.
Requirements:
-Bachelor or Master major in Electrics or Electronics;
-Experience in mixed signal IC verification and application, or in board-level development for the high power mixed signal circuit;
-Strong analysis, manipulative and communication ability;
-Be able to work under pressure;
-Good English reading, writing and speaking ability;
-Experience in Li-ion battery management system or in automotive electronics is a big plus
3. Analog Design Engineer
Job Description:
- Designing analog and mixed-signal ICs
- Management products utilizing leading edge sub-micron CMOS technologies
- Developing state of the art products that include op amps, comparators, bandgap, low-drop linear regulator, ADCs, DC-DC converters, and power supply control algorithms.
Requirements:
- Minimum BS/MS in Electronic Engineering
- Good knowledge in analog IC design;
- Familiar with SPICE simulation and basic analog building blocks: Op Amps, Comparators, Voltage references, MOSFET design, and IC layout.
- Strong Communication skills, high level of intelligence, self-motivation and aggressiveness.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required
4. Software Engineer
Job Description:
-Develop Windows/Linux driver for O2Micro MemoryCardBus controller, Smart Card Reader. Fix issue and add feature according to customer request.
-Testing toolkit development both in Windows and DOS.
-Firmware development.
Requirements:
-BS in computer science, Electronic Engineering or related
-Be familiar with Windows SDK, Install Shield and other related application
-Experience on PCMCIA, USB and SCSI would be a plus
-Experience on SD/MMC/MemoryStick/xD/SmartCard would be a plus
-Experience on Firmware Development would be a plus
-Excellent communication skill and team work
-English reading/writing
5. Junior ERP Engineer
Job Description:
-ERP & Miscellaneous Business Applications, development,implementation and maintenance.
-Project Ownership.
-Reporting to ERP Manager.
-Interfacing to End/Key users and System Designer.
Requirements:
- Be familiar with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports
- Knowledge on ERP manufacture and supply-chains modules.
- Good communication skills and team work.
- BS or above.
6. ASIC System validation Engineer
Job Descriptions:
-Develop system board for IC validation.
-Work on IC function verification and performance test.
-Develop evaluation board for demonstration and evaluation. Develop reference board for customer design.
-Support customers to facilitate their product development cycles.
-Identify the customers' requirements. Deliver and improve the reference designs, related documents and application notes for customers' evaluation, design-in, and migration to mass production.
-FAE/Customer Support, Assist in FAE analyzing and resolving technical issues. Deliver solutions promptly.
Requirements:
-BS/MS in Electronic or Computer Science Engineering.
-Experienced in hardware design and debugging, including schematic design and PCB layout, experience in high-speed and mix-signal PCB design and signal integrity analysis is preferable.
-Proficient in using EDA tools and test/analyzing equipments.
-Good teamwork and interpersonal communication skill.
-Experience in ASIC verification and application, such as PCI/PCIe, is preferable.
-Good hardware debugging/trouble shooting skill and using debugging equipment.
-Diligent and good at thinking over/analyzing problems
