<1> Packaging Engineer Trainee

Department Name:    PPD   

Title:   Packaging Engineer Trainee   

Location:  Shanghai/Guangdong

Responsibilities:

1. According to customer demand complete the sample packaging design independently

2. Timely provide package designing data and test reports, assist business people on packaging proposal preparation.

3. Skilled of generating production samples of various types packaging sample and outer packaging.

4. To establish good communication channels with customers to get more specific needs.

5. To provide on-site guidance and relevant training package to help customers continue to improve the packaging.

6. Proficient in ISTA test procedures and operation for transport packaging testing laboratory equipment.

7. Installation / use / maintenance of laboratory equipment independently, provide equipment operator training to customer.

8. To assist company various exhibitions.

9. Represent the company at industry associations and co-operation with packaging seminar.

Qualifications:

1.  Bachelor degree with major in packaging preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Market information collection and analysis;

2. Visit the customers with sales people in Shanghai/Zhejiang/Jiangsu, and assist sales people to do selling jobs like sample preparation etc;

3. Liaison with the function departments to act as an internal support to sales & marketing team, including various inspection reports, CIQ pass, QA pass etc;

4. Assist on customer proposal preparation, mainly composing for sales team, to integrate the sales proposal by product line/market under related manager’s support;

Responsibilities:

1.        Understand of primary and secondary packaging design

2.        Sound knowledge of different packaging materials

3.        Understand of ISTA test standard and lab equipments, i.e. Drop Tester and Transportation Simulator

4.        Able to propose economic packaging solution to meet customer's requirement

5.        Prototype sample and Cost Value Analysis preparation

6.        Work closely with sales team to get necessary info for design and test projects

7.        Conduct lab test and prepare test report to sales team and customers

8.        Able to read test data and way of improvement

9.        In charge of lab equipment (sample maker) and its basic maintenance

10.    Provide training to end-customers and fabricators

11.    Proficient in MS Office and 2D/3D drafting software

Responsibilities:

1.    Pre-sales service: help sales reps do machine demonstration

2.    Install & commission equipment and train the operators of the equipment.

3.    Service equipment in existing accounts.

4.    Increase sales volume in existing accounts.

5.    Collect account receivables from time to time.

6.    Handle customer complaints and build a positive relationship with customers.

7.    Perform other tasks assigned from time to time

8.    Home-based, company car will be provided.

Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor's degree majored in mechanical/electrical.

2.    At least 3 years of experience in servicing external customers.
