Job description

The person in this position will be responsible for RX & LNA (receiver and low noise amplifier) RF design for wireless base stations.

The main duties are:

RX chain design

Component line-up selection and evaluation including supplier liaison

Advice PCB layout design engineer

Ensure the design meets all requirements set by the specification and related standards

Quality and reliability assurance during prototyping and high volume ramp up

Generating all related documentation for design and testing

Advice RF testing engineers and perform testing as necessary

Essential required qualifications

M.Sc.or B.Sc. or similar degree in electronics engineering

Knowledge in 3GPP and other related international wireless standards

Hands on skills to use related RF test equipment and perform RF testing

Proficiency in related CAD software; Experience using Mentor tools is preferred but not mandatory

Proficiency in MicroSoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Additional required qualifications

Experience in liaison with manufacturing and transferring design from R&D to production

Excellent written and good spoken English

Good interpersonal skills

Good communication and presentation skills

Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment

Initiative and willing to work on his/her own

Ability to work on multiple and complex tasks

Innovative problem solving capabilities

Willing to travel

The main duties in this position are:

Participate in outlining product architecture definition and derive the low level FPGA specification.

Control the logic design including component selection, pin definition, architecture, simulation, synthesis, place & route and debugging on board.

Liaison with category managers, suppliers and other relevant functions for quality assurance.

Essential required qualifications

M.Sc.or B.Sc. or similar degree in electronics or electrical engineering.

Complete understanding of the FPGA design flow.

Design background in signal processing, WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/LTE.

Experience in implementation of TRX and IF FPGA.

Experience in board level simulations and verification.

Knowledge of board level circuit and embedded SW development.

Knowledge of Micro-processor and network processor environments

Proficiency in MicroSoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Additional required qualifications

Excellent written and good spoken English.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience in DDC, DUC, DPD, CFR and RF algorithms design

Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment.
