Qualifications:
- Master Degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or related field
- Extensive knowledge on electrochemical devices, particular Li-ion batteries
- Proficiency in test procedure codes programming
- Proficiency in test data processing and analysis, proficiency in relevant software and code programming
- Well understand test standards and specifications
- Demonstrate high level of interpersonal communication skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English
- Good PC skills, email, MS Office
Experience:
- Former experience in battery testing is preferred.
- Experience with electrochemical devices usage
- Experience in problem investigation and applying sound technical judgment to develop solutions
Preferred experiences:
- Knowledge of hybrid electric vehicle and electric vehicle
- Knowledge of battery manufacturing, quality control and failure parts analysis
- Solid mathematic skills and software programming skills
- Experience in battery modeling
- Experience in testing and/or engineering in multinational corporation

- Balance energy with other vehicle requirements and participate in the energy allocation decisions and impacts
- Provide appropriate program fuel economy and performance updates as requested
- Support the continued development of analytical and process tools utilized in fuel economy and drive quality
- Comprehend emerging and competitive advanced technologies that may enable vehicle fuel economy and performance improvements
- Champion and Drive mass reduction programs and workshops at all levels: SMT, Systems, and Component
- Support and develop mass reduction strategies that lead to vehicle fuel economy
- Balance mass requirements: curb, test weight class, GVW with other vehicle requirements and participate in the allocation decisions and impacts

- Working experiences in Auto industry with vehicle level fuel economy and drive performance experience.

- Functional knowledge of cars and light trucks.
|
- Strong demonstrated analytical skills and CAE tools application skills such as Matlab, AVL cruise, GM Unified Model, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult

- Self-motivated and able to work independently

- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
|
- Effective and strong team player exercising good work aptitude
- University Degree, with a major in Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degree desirable.
