We have recently established a Representative Office in Beijing, P.R. China to work more closely with our distributor and customers in China to better serve the local scientific community.

We are looking for a bright, flexible and energetic Scientific Marketing/Sales Coordinator to join our team.  Reporting to the General Manager (GM), Beijing Representative Office, the Scientific Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting GM to manage a wide range of marketing process and projects.

Specifically, the Scientific Marketing/Sales Coordinator will:

·         Assist GM in coordinating various integrated communication and marketing activities

·         Research to generate leads, identify sector opportunities, and competitor information

·         Qualify leads before passing on to distributor

·         Execute and track results of marketing campaigns and advertisements, make recommendations to concurrent programs for corrective modifications

·         Coordinate events including conferences, seminars, trade shows and exhibits

·         Translate scientific marketing materials and collaterals from English to Mandarin

·         Liaise with colleagues in Vancouver to ensure the consistency of the company’s global marketing strategies

·         Monitor online blogs and forums for tracking communications related to the brand of a company

·         Supervising the production or implementation of marketing materials

Qualifications:

·         BSc or MSc in the Biological Science

·         At least 1 year of relevant work experience

·         Strategic thinker with an ability to work on multiple tasks without compromising quality

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·         Outstanding oral and written English is essential

·         Computer proficiency is a MUST with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
