BHP Billiton(必和必拓) is the world's largest mining company. Created in 2001 by the merger of Australia's Broken Hill Proprietary Company (BHP) and the British-Dutch Billiton, it is also the largest company in Australia by market capitalization and is now a dual-listed company with head offices in Melbourne and London.

About the Role

The Marketing Graduate Program (MGP) is a two to three years program aimed at developing young professionals within the Marketing organization.

[First year]: The candidates will be trained on basic presentation skills, technical expertise, systems introduction, basic presentation skills, and participate in marketing mentoring program.

[Second year]: The candidates will have new cultural exposure to deepen experience, also will be trained to have excellence presentation skills, influencing personal effectiveness and risk management capability.

[Third year]: The candidates will transfer to a permanent role with training on negotiation skills, project management.

The whole process will provide the candidates as follow:

A thorough understanding of the specific business activities within the TMU/Function

The opportunity to regularly develop new skills

Sufficient experience to take on a professional or junior leadership role when exiting the program

Requirements

Essential:

~Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a renowned university in Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or other related field

~Experience level: under 2 years ’ full-time work experience

~Distinction average academic record

~Fluent verbal and written English language skills eventual local language

~Internationally mobile (relocation to Holland or Singapore required for the successful candidate)

~Ambition, motivation to succeed and passionate to achieve goals

~Evidence of future leadership capability - i.e. competencies in the area of vision, credibility, communication, judgment, etc, as well as inclination to take on leadership roles (e.g. committees, projects, etc)

Preferable traits

~International experience (study and/or work)

~Interest in natural resources sector - energy, mining, oil and gas, etc - either evidenced by study and/or choice of internship

~Second language
