The software R&D engineer will be a significant contributor to the development of software for signal generation platforms.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will participate in the early investigation, software architecture design and development work. They will use C#/.NET and new software technologies within an object-oriented structure in the software development. Some instrument control/usage techniques (e.g. SCPI, IVI-COM) will also be used in the software development. They will need to use their knowledge of board-level hardware control, high-speed buses/interfaces, signal processing and communications to ensure the correctness of corresponding software functionalities.

The candidates with combination of computer science/software development skills with hardware/firmware experience/knowledge would be preferred. Having signal processing/communications background/knowledge would also be a plus.

Qualification:

- Master degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of related work experience acceptable

- Strong knowledge and experience in object oriented (OO) design and programming

- Abundant experiences in software development on Windows native or .Net platform using C#/C /C languages.

- Strong knowledge and experience on software development/testing processes to ensure good software quality

- Strong knowledge and experience in board-level hardware control, high-speed buses/interfaces (e.g. PCIe, USB, Express Card Bus, etc.)

- Strong signal processing/communications background and knowledge.

- Good knowledge on instrument control/usage techniques (e.g. SCPI, IVI-COM). Knowledge/experience with Agilent test and measurement instruments will be a plus.

- Good English skills in both speaking and writing

- Strong learning ability

- Good team work spirit
