Description
HP Software & Solutions R&D team in Shanghai is looking for talents working for a leading enterprise level software product widely used by world-wide Fortune 500 companies. The 3-tier application is written in a combination of ANSI C and Java (Web), and it supports various platforms like Windows, HPUX, Solaris, AIX and Linux. Supported databases include Oracle, SQL Server and DB2. Application servers used are Tomcat, Web Sphere and Web Logic. Technologies used include XML, JNI, Web Service, Ajax, JSF, OCI, CLI etc.
This position will involve the whole lifecycle of product development, including bug fixing, new feature development and product releasing, but will focus on develop and maintain the Java based web application within the product. Detailed activities include:
Work within a small scrum team and perform daily job based on agile practice
Analyze requirement from product manager team and design the implementation of the feature assigned
Implement the feature in Java language and port the code change in various branches
Write unit test cases to validate the code implemented
Work closely with QA engineer to write test cases to validate the feature
Work closely with product managers to accept features implemented
Work closely with Level 4(L4) support engineer to fix customer defects
Perform other R&D related works necessary for product development per arrangement
Qualifications
? A bachelor's degree or above in computer-related diploma with 5 years in Java web development

? Fluent English in oral and writing, good communication skill
