Position: Management Trainee (MT)

 

The Management Trainee position is a development position. Over a 24-months period, the jobholder will gain professional experience in different areas of insurance operations. It is structured to provide fresh graduates or young talents with less than 3 years working experience with a chance to develop a fast-track insurance career.

A 24-month structured developmental and training programme which allows the Management Trainees to acquire the technical competencies and managerial skills to become future leaders

Job rotation in various business areas, including the key operation process of insurance business, such as life operation, sales and marketing, product development, pricing, and etc

Ongoing training, mentoring and development to ensure the trainee never step off the learning curve

Career Path

The objective of INSHMT program is to set up a solid basis for the management trainees (MTs) to be developed as future leaders of insurance industry. With the business development of HSBC Life and growth potential of HSBC Group in China, this is an excellent opportunity for young talents.

 

Upon successful graduation from the INSHMT programme, MTs should be able to take a junior manager position in related function. The specific position and career path will be determined based on the business needs and MT's interest. MTs need to be mobile, to support company's organic growth and geographic development.

To be considered, you should possess the following qualities:

Fresh graduate, or candidates who have less than 3 years working experience

Have at least a bachelor degree from any discipline gained from a reputable university, with good academic standing

Mobility

Proficiency in English and Chinese

Personal drive, strong analytical and problem-solving ability and adaptability
