What Are We Looking For?

TALENTED SOFTWARE ENGINEERS

We are looking for outstanding employees to join us as full-time Software Engineers. Successful candidates will have developed high-performance, stable software that has been successfully deployed in a global product. You will have a system-wide, architectural view of the solutions that you build. You will also have strong technical ability, a focus on the customer experience, great teamwork and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
You will work as part of an Agile team at our development center in Beijing, China launching and growing new products for Nokia's Mobile Phones business. You will play a key contributor role in your team - as they will look to you for advice on the mobile technology. You will be a pivotal team player and able to deploy your initiatives, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success. You will be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to software development across a variety of technologies. Your software will need to meet remarkably high standards of performance and reliability, and will operate a global scale.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:

• Using deep technical expertise to deliver high quality software
• Working in a product creation project and/or technology project with design, implementation and integration responsibilities
• Contributing to project milestones and bringing productivity, quality and competitive advantage to SW development by solving complex problems in component/product level

• Messaging, Phonebook, Call, Dual SIM
• Local Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB
Qualifications

Your Qualifications:

Computer Science Honors degree or postgraduate study (applicants with a degree in a related discipline who have demonstrated a strong Java: JVM and JSRs Grounding in Computer Science and significant experience in Software Engineering will also be considered).

Essential skills:

• Good knowledge about C and software design
• Embedded software experience, knowledge about RTOS
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering, telecommunication or other relevant field in Hardware Based band area (Master Degree is preferred).
• Capable knowledge with System ASICs, Memories, Battery, SIM, ASIP, connectivity (Wlan, FM, GPS, BT, USB, uSD….) and sensor
• Proactive and honest in nature, ability to effectively co-work with others
• Fluent speaking in presentation skills and written communication skills in English.
• Innovative thinking to seeds the opportunities and drive the innovation from Base band side for NOKIA products.
• Strong fundamentals of high speed circuit design and the signal integrity theory is a plus
• Capable knowledge with simulation tool ( signal integrity, sensor….) is a plus
• Knowledge on low level SW is a plus

Qualifications:

• BSEE or equivalent with focus in Baseband area for cell phone. MS degree highly desired.
• Strong fundamental knowledge in high speed circuit design and the signal integrity theory is a plus
• Hands-on experience on various Baseband measurement equipments will be a strong plus)
• Knowledge with Qualcomm chipset and Windows Phone is a plus.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Good fundamental in RF, microwave, communication theory
• Hands-on experience in RF trouble shooting and testing
• Knowledge about BT/WLAN/FM/GPS/NFC non-cellular systems
• Enough curiosity and vigorous.
• Cross functional knowledge, e.g. baseband, Software, etc.
• Networking and communication skills
• Proactive approach to own task area
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

Qualifications:

• BSEE or higher with focus in RF area relevant to cellular or non-cellular radios. For cellular radios: GSM / GPRS / EDGE, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, UMTS, LTE. For non-cellular radios: WLAN, Bluetooth, FM, GPS, NFC, CMMB. MS degree highly desired.
• Good level of knowledge in RF transceivers, power amplifiers and other RF components in cell phone radios.
• Ideally with good hands-on experience with RF test equipments.
• Knowledge with Qualcomm chipset and Windows Phone is a plus.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Description

• Test system preparation and on-site support for prototype manufacturing events.
• Development and integration of soft- and hardware solutions for production test systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration with R&D design teams to ensure that the product design is optimized for the mass production test process.
• Collaborate with various global functions in order to ensure the highest level of efficiency and re-usability of the solutions integrated.
• Communication and co-operation with Nokia factories ensuring to meet the ramp up targets.
• Documentation and releasing of implemented Soft- and Hardware solutions. Qualifications
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electronics, RF engineering or communication engineering.
• Good technical engineering qualification.
• Solid knowledge about cellular and non-cellular RF-technologies is a must.
• Knowledge about electronics production test systems appreciated.
• Basic understanding of SPC and six sigma methodologies.
• High level communication and presentation skills.
• Project management skills.
• Programming experience in C/C#.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Readiness to travel is essential.
