"International Trainee Program" of ZF Friedrichshafen AG

 

Structure & Contents

• Program Start and Duration

The program begins every year in October. The program lasts 15 months.

• After the Trainee Program

After the Program, you will take a position within the ZF corporation. During your time as a trainee, you also have the chance to figure out what kind of position would best suit you. These wishes will be taken into consideration.

• Individual Projects

You work during these 15 months on four, self-organized, individual projects at four different locations, one of which is outside of Germany. The projects last three to four months apiece.

• Team Project

As a group, the trainees receive an assignment that they have to work on together through the Trainee program.

• Workshops

At the beginning of the Trainee program, there is a team-building orientation week. During the individual projects, there are also weeklong workshops aimed at further developing your skills. Examples of these include project management, personality development, communication management and intercultural competence.

 

Profile & Requirements

• Studies

You should have completed your technical or business degree with better than average grades, as well as demanding internships or work-studies. Because we are a technical company, it is important for you to have an interest in technology.

• Internationality

Our Trainee program is international. Because of this, we expect that you have international experience through studies, internships or working experience.

• Foreign Languages

It is required that you be able to communicate well in the English and German languages. Any additional language skills would be beneficial.

• Personality

The trainees are part of our potential future management of which we have high expectations. Because of this, you should have a very strong personality. You have the opportunity to show this in an assessment-center
