Reporting to the Managing Director, you shall be responsible for the following:
Development of Internal Software System (Resume Database) – Primary Role
1.Develop the internal resume database system that includes the search engine and work management functions for the operations
2.Fully in charge of the design, implementation and maintenance of the MS SQL database
3.Work closely with the end users (recruitment teams and operations teams) on the development and upgrading of the internal database system as well as other IT systems. This shall include development of the system specifications with the end users and management.
4.Conduct training on applications to end-user(s)
5.Conduct and manage regular systems and database backup
6.Involve in regular evaluation of the database and tools and provide recommendation to the management for improved work performance and system efficiency
7.Maintain and update system documentation for administration, installation, maintenance and user training
Management of IT Network and Infrastructure
1.Responsible for the overall IT infrastructure of the company
2.Install network based applications, new service packs and other software such as MS Access Runtime, MS PowerPoint Viewer, Printers, MS Office and Anti-Virus files
3.Manage software licensing
4.Render 1st level network and server support to end-users as needed, especially in desktop connectivity problems
5.Take charge of IT hardware and software sourcing and installation
Other Duties
1.Provide IT support to the Singapore operations if necessary
2.Perform other duties as deem fit by the management
Key Performance Indicators
1.Development of an effective internal database system that provides strong search engine and work management features for the recruitment teams and management
2.Improvement of the overall IT system efficiency in the company
3.Proper management of IT assets and documentation
4.Regular and proper backup of critical data and files
Requirements
1.Recognized Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines
2.At least 2 years of relevant working experience in software development and programming
3.Established track records in software development of similar work systems
4.Strong technical knowledge and working experience in database systems
5.Strong working knowledge of PHP and MySQL, Jquery programming
6.Strong knowledge in databases e.g. MS SQL Server and MS Access. Able to work with multiple databases and integration of multiple applications
7.Must be competent in IT Support operations, technical diagnostics and analysis and able to provide guidance and technical support in a very clear and concise manner to internal users
8.Independent individual with a drive to make things work
9.Dynamic, committed, self-motivated and proactive with a positive mind
10.Excellent communication skills
