ALSTOM BEIZHONG Power(Beijing) Co.Ltd.(ABP) is a joint venture, established by ALSTOM(China) Investment Co.,Ltd.(with 88.32% shareholding) and Beijing Heavy Electric Machinery Works(with 11.68%shareholding), in December 2004. Registered Capital 29.9 M USD, Total Investment 86 M USD. Now the two parties get an agreement to reach to one hundred million dollar. The Joint Venture has the total covered area of around 35,000m² (including 25,000 m² for large workshops) .We manufacture, commission and sell 600MW subcritical, supercritical and ultra-supercritical with air cooled or wet cooled applications

 

Benefited from ALSTOM‘s globally advanced steam turbine and generator technologies and manufacturing capabilities, the Joint Venture finished 6* 600 MV steam turbines and generators for Pingwei, Dabieshan and Longshan power plants in China.

Purpose:

Job Title:          Thermodynamic Engineer

Location:      Beijing

 

Responsibilities:

- Support development of technical solution for the retrofitting of old, less efficient steam turbine cylinders. Analysis of thermodynamic cycle of steam plant from customer supplied data and test data.

 - Identification of customer requirements, determination of appropriate retrofit proposals and preparation of thermal performance data for inclusion tender documentation. Ensure thermodynamic data meet the requirement of project, high efficiency steam passage data, and ensure safety margin of guarantee value.

 - Thermodynamic definition of the contract steam path to other design groups to enable detailed mechanical design to be carried out. Provide technical tendering support, prepare performance test procedures and attend to performance acceptance tests.

Job Title:       Process Engineer

Location:      Qingdao

 

Purpose of the Job:

Fulfil the work on designing welding process to provide process and technical support for manufacturing, and ensure process documentations are accurate, complete and uniform, so as to guarantee a successful proceeding of operation system of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for review of technological efficiency of product design, and ensure product design has good manufacturability.

- Design and prepare manufacturing method documentation, ensure proper design of manufacturing method, ensure the manufacturing method is complete and its effective guidance to manufacturing on a timely basis.

- Issue manufacturing tooling design assignment to tooling designers. Check tooling drawings to ensure relevant requirements are met.

-  Provide on-site technical support to manufacturing. Timely solve technical problems during manufacturing to ensure normal operation of production.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or above, major in welding and with at least 3 years welding related experience;

- Have good capability of understanding drawings, and be familiar with general manufacturing equipment.

- Proficient user of CAD and Office software.

 

Job Title:       Project Quality Engineer

Location:      Qingdao

 

Purpose of the Job:

To ensure a proper implementation of contractual quality requirements in the project execution, and to coordinate along all project functions and with customer representative for overall quality aspects. To ensure the appropriate level of the customer satisfaction by using continues feedback process from the client to the execution processes.

 

Responsibilities:

-Be part of the tendering team, review the quality requirements of the customer specifications and highlight deviations to normal conditions of contract

-On time issue of a project quality plan (standard practise the quality organization of the product line is responsible for the project quality plan)

-Ensure that requirements of project specific inspection and test plans are implemented in the manufacturing operation plans, release of MOP for the production

-Provide regularly an update of the inspection time-schedule to the project order management; coordinate the actual date of customer witness points through a notification process with order management and with procurement organizations

-Be project representative on behalf of Order Management on customer witness points, be involved in the preparation of witness points at suppliers and at factories (including the preparation of the quality documentation)

-Take the role of NCR handler for the NCR resolution process between supplier, factories and the engineering department

-Analyse a customer satisfaction survey at defined project milestones. Investigate and solve customer complains concerning the project quality issues

-Ensure trough the supplier quality control inspectors inspections at suppliers are conducted as per project quality plan

-Compiling the overall project quality documentation and submit for an approval to QPI manager and to QC manager

 

Requirements:

- University degree in a technical area, preferred in Quality Management

- Basic knowledge of Quality rules

- Good English skills, both in speaking and writing

 

 

Job Title:       Fluid Dynamics Calculation Engineer

Location:      Qingdao

 

Purpose of the Job:

Fulfil project product design and R&D works and ensure product drawings and design documents are accurate, complete, and uniform as well as clear; improve the reliability of products to ensure technical performance of products meet the customers' requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

Job Title:       Hardware Testing Engineer

Location:          Shenzhen

  

Responsibilities:

 - Ensure testing meets the test requirements of all technical requirements and product development,
- According to test plan conduct testing at all levels and analyze accuracy of implementation/ reasonability, and communicate testing information/ feedback to relevant departments in timely manners,
- Responsible for product development, the analysis of reliability-related failures testing of projects at all phases, and solution provisions.
- Write and maintain testing standards and specifications while develop new testing methods
- Assistance to track and repair defects related to reliability
- Conduct certification testing and make sure products are qualified for relevant certification (EMC, CE, UL and other testing according to test plans for the project,
- Locate and resolve problems online

Requirements:

- Undergraduate education, with major in electronics, signal processing, machinery or other related fields,
- Passed CET 6, and be able to communicate in English fluently
- Proficient in schematic and PCB design tools, and have good understandings of signal generator, oscilloscope,
- Understand basic concepts/ knowledge of the reliability and hardware,
- Be proficient in Linux / Unix operating systems,
