1. Duties & Responsibilities
|
|
- Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, leads and controls the effective use of people, equipment and operation to ensure timely and cost effective manufacturing.
- Do daily audit for shift Safety performance and timely follow up safety related issues. Ensure people work in safe condition.
- Manage and coach the operators to continuously improve the performance excellence
- Develop shift production management system to ensure sustainability performance.
- Organize shift training resource and arrange cross training to improve flexibility.
- Maintain production 5S requirement, Continuously doing improvement use modern manufacturing method..
Direct reports:
- Shift operator/shift maintenance/Team Leader/Group Leader.

2. Education/Knowledge Requirement
|
|
- Bachelor and /or above
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automation, Industry Engineering
- CET 6 required.
|

2. Job Family Description:
|
|
Involves determination of manufacturability of products and improved effectiveness and cost of production processes through determinations regarding: Methods, equipment, layout, workflow, time standards, capacity utilization, process/equipment improvements, and process control systems. May involve application of knowledge and methods for understanding physical phenomena to achieve specified characteristics and criteria for products, processes and equipment.

3. Job Discipline:
|
|
Encompasses the application of scientific and technological principles involved in the design, manufacturability, and the operations of products, equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. Focus is on design and application of Optical Engineering to support manufacturing consistency, performance and cost objectives.
|
4. Duties & Responsibilities
|
|
With a Optical engineering or Optoelectronic background, utilize the scientific method for designing and optimizing equipment intended to improve existing and/or develop new processes for product manufacturing. Utilize that same skill set for troubleshooting problems with manufacturing equipment and processes. Work on a variety of problems of diverse scope where analysis of data and process/equipment variability requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment with generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Identify, scope, and implement cost reduction projects. Monitor daily operations for equipment consistency. Interact well with others to accomplish team based decision making and problem resolution. Provide detailed communication on work to both internal and external work groups.
