职位描述:
This position plays a key role in developing company’s wireless system-on-chip (SOC) products. It requires good understanding of communication system architectures and hand-on experience of designing RF and analog circuits such as LNA, mixer, PA, VCO and PLL etc. It will be involved in detailed design of CMOS RF and analog circuits, including design capture, layout, test, evaluation and debugging of prototype ICs and design support for mass production.
Responsibilities
· Performs specification definition, modeling, schematic entry, pre-layout simulation, layout design, post-layout simulation, and timing library & abstract generation,
· Responsible for custom layout, including supervising layout designers,
· Supports marketing manager in product definition,
· Performs bench characterization and supports test engineering to develop ATE test program,
· Supports product engineering to meet manufacturing and production needs,
· Supports application engineering to meet customer needs,
· Detailed documentation to support internal and external users as well as Application engineering
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent areas,
- Solid fundamentals of MOS fabrication processes, device physics and modeling,
- Advanced knowledge of CMOS RF and analog circuit design in several of the following areas: LNA, mixer, PA, PLL, VCO etc.,
- Experience of any of the following is a plus: Bluetooth transceiver, Zigbee transceiver, Proprietary 2.4GHz transceiver, Cellular transceiver
- Proficiency in layout design, verification (DRC, LVS)
- Good skills in Matlab, experience in scripting languages (perl, shell, tcl, skill) is a plus
- Advanced skills in Cadence tools (Virtuoso, ADE, etc.) and circuit simulation tools (Spice, Spectre, SpectreRF, Ultrasim, etc.)
Knowledge of any 3D EM tools (HFSS, Peakview, IE3D etc.) is a plus
