软件测试工程师
Description:
This person will work as part of a China-based software development team in cooperation with a software development team in the United States. Provides testing of program code during development cycle of certain software products.
Duties:
· Designs, develops, executes, verifies, and analyzes test programs and procedures.
· Plans and documents testing tasks.
· Designs specific test programs to isolate software "bugs".
· Discriminates between legitimate defect and unrelated problems.
· Tracks specific "bugs" and verifies fixes.
· Documents system "bugs" and resolution of verified "bugs" and related fixes.
· May design, develop, integrate, maintain, and document testing tools.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field;
· More than 4 years of direct experience in writing software applications, testing software systems, and/or general programming;
· More than 3 years of testing experience;
· Good interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills;
· Excellent communication skill ,and troubleshooting skill
· Excellent skill of self-learning
· Good spoken and written English;
Preferences:
· More than 5 years experiences on Data Warehousing field;
· Good knowledge of multiple operating systems, especially Unix/Linux;

Responsibilities:
· Research, design, coding, debug and test SAS text analytics software
· Investigate latest technologies and algorithms
· Provide technical support to SAS text analytics software
· Provide professional service/consulting service to SAS clients
· Help technical writer to write technical documentation
· Work with testing team to develop testing plan for the software
Qualifications:
· MS or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
· Must have demonstrated knowledge of C or C programming
· Have a firm understanding of design methodology
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
· Familiar with Perl, Python, Java, C#, QT, MFC, Flex and Javascript is optional
· NLP, machine learning, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, text mining or statistics background is preferable
· Expertise in speech recognition, acoustic modeling, and audio/video processing is a plus
Install test engineer
This position is for install test on SAS BI products. The responsibility is development support for other SAS function testing team.
Responsibilities:
· Perform SAS products installation/uninstallation and SAS application deployment
· Design test plan and deliver test report as required.
· Install and deploy SAS products and any involved third-party software;
· Design and/or follow test cases according to test plan as needed;
· Perform functionality test focusing on software internationalization check list;
· Enter defects for problems and track the defects. Assist the developer to fix the defects;
· Perform regression test for fixed defects;
· Share the testing experiences and technical skills internally;
· Communicate with tester and/or developer in US;
