ERP SYSTEMS ANALYST

 

Location: Shanghai/Dongguan/Shunde

 

Overview

An entry level SAP Analyst is assigned to a specific functional group (Finance, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Procurement, etc.) on the SAP team within the TE Connectivity Information Systems organization. 

 

Position Duties/Responsibilities – work in a project based team environment to:

1.    Define business requirements for IT solutions and processes

2.    Perform build versus buy analysis and vendor evaluations

3.    Design IT solutions to meet the business requirements, performance standards, and usability standards

4.    Evaluate and select the optimal software platform and associated infrastructure to meet requirements

5.    Develop IT solutions, interfaces, and processes using the TEIS Project Methodology

6.    Ensure IT solutions are auditable, secure, and recoverable

7.    Ensure data quality and integrity of IT solutions

8.    Test IT solutions by creating test scenarios and performing systems and integration testing

9.    Develop and deliver training and documentation materials

10.  Deploy IT solutions using sound change management practices

11.  Provide customer support and enhancements for IT solutions

12.  Other activities as assigned

Position Requirements/ Skills

1.      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or software development related

2.    Person of high ethics and integrity; Action oriented, driven to deliver results

3.    Ability to work effectively in a team environment

4.    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

5.      Independent self starter with a positive attitude

6.      Innovative and creative

7.      Ability to learn quickly and apply resulting knowledge in a practical manner

8.      Analytical and problem solving abilities

9.      Willingness to travel globally; culturally informed

10.  Technically savvy in IT principles and skills
