In 2008, Goodrich officially broke ground for its newest facility in China, one designed to improve support to its customers by providing world-class maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in this vitally important region.

The first phase of the facility includes a 4,857 square-meter temporary plant in the Tianjin Airport Economic Area with comprehensive MRO capability for the entire fleet mix in mainland China. A 15,329 square-meter permanent facility is scheduled to open in the end of 2011 and will include support for the Airbus A320 final assembly line and supply chain management resources.
