Full time content writer and content distributor

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role are two-folded: content writing and content distributing.

1.      Content Writing and Editing

a)        Writing web content of specific topic for websites / portals from scratch; editing and proof reading content once written

b)        Writing, editing and proof reading copy for client projects based on the material supplied by them

c)        Writing content for online magazines and blog sites such as Ezines Articles, , etc

d)        Writing creative and appealing press releases for high end online publishers

e)        Checking web pages finally before making them live

2.      Content Distributing

a)        Submit content to different online magazines such as Ezines Articles; set up and maintain blogs on popular blog sites and clients’ sites.

b)        Find contacts for high end online media, including NY Times, Google News, etc, communicate with them and get content accepted.

c)        Manage part time content writers if applicable

Requirements

1.      Proven knowledge and experience in English content writing; an excellent command over all forms of English writing

2.      An ability to weed-out contextual and grammatical errors

3.      Quick learning ability for any given industry; able to write creative content for a specific industry after quick research

4.      An understanding of marketing and business processes and hence an ability to provide valuable content based on inputs from clients and general online industry information

5.      Proven knowledge and experience in English email communication. Good knowledge of email etiquette in English

6.      Basic understanding of online sales psychology; able to deliver call to action content

7.      Knowledge of writing for the web and writing for SEO is a plus
