Position in Information Service/ Information Technology (Base in Shanghai)
Being a Graduate in IS with AstraZeneca will expose you to many facets of the IS profession through the support and management of various projects. Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to:
- Business partnering in one or more of our customer areas including, but not limited to, Research and Development, Global Commercial and Operations
- Delivering our pipeline of new capabilities across all AZ business areas through portfolio planning, program and project management and architectural alignment
- Excellence in execution in managing our landscape of services, applications, infrastructure environment and processes
So what does it take?
First and foremost, it's crucial you have strong interest in the pharmaceutical business, potentially across all functions in concert with the ability to lead IS/IT teams to deliver new capabilities in collaboration with our key external partners. To have the greatest impact in your role, you will need to be able to quickly understand our IT environment. Examples of your innovative or entrepreneurial activities and accomplishments will be valuable. A degree in a relevant discipline as noted below and a valid passport are essential. You will also need to be geographically mobile and be comfortable spending time working and living overseas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree in various IS/IT fields of study including, but not limited to, Information, Decision or Computer Science, Business Process Modeling, Enterprise Systems, etc. Bachelor degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Marketing are also appropriate with accompanying emphasis in IS/IT areas
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters level degree
- Demonstrated Leadership experience in work, education or organizational membership experiences
- This program is designed for entry level experience and candidates preferred for these positions have 0-to-3 years of work experience
- As we are a Global organization, you will also need to be fluent in English. Additional language skills are desirable, especially Mandarin or Chinese, Spanish, Swedish or another European language.
