POSITION TITLE: Student Intern - Shanghai Office

REPORTS TO:     Partner in Charge - Shanghai Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:

"       This is student intern level position.

"       Legal research and prepare legal documents for multinational companies in 
one or more of the following areas: business transactions (joint venture and
 M&A); employment law; land use right, real estate and construction; general
 corporate set-up and maintenance; leases; interfacing with Chinese official
s regarding compliance issues; environmental law; foreign exchanges; intelle
ctual property right and licencing, e-commerce, international trade and dist
ribution; banking; insurance; and financing.

QUALIFICATIONS

"       A law degree from a China law school and/or LL.M. or JD from a U.S. law sc
hool

"       Internship experience with major international law firms preferred 

"       Fluency in both oral and written Chinese and English
